Velenne is a perimenopause tracking app: a daily log for symptoms, sleep, cycle changes, and medication. It was built to keep your health record private, and that choice is architectural, not just a promise:

What we collect

Nothing. Velenne has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics, advertising, or tracking software of any kind. We operate no server that could receive your information. The App Store label for Velenne is “Data Not Collected,” and that is the literal truth of how the app is built.

What stays on your device

Everything you record in the app — your symptom logs, sleep entries, cycle notes, medication records, and settings — is stored only on your device, in the app's private storage. We cannot read, recover, or restore it. If you delete the app, this information is deleted with it.

Apple Health (HealthKit) — read-only sleep

If you choose to enable it, Velenne reads your sleep data from Apple Health so it can appear alongside your daily log. This is read-only: Velenne never writes to Apple Health. The reading happens on your device; your sleep data is not sent to us or to anyone else, and it is never used for advertising or marketing. You can decline or revoke this permission at any time in Apple Health or in Settings, and you can always log sleep by hand instead. Nothing else in Apple Health is accessed.

Your PDF report

Velenne can generate a PDF summary of your logs for you to bring to your doctor. The PDF is created on your device. It leaves your device only if you choose to share it (for example, by email, Messages, or AirDrop) using your device's standard share options. We never receive a copy.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment information; we never see or store it. Apple provides us with anonymous, aggregated sales reporting (such as the total number of subscriptions sold), which contains no information that identifies you. Managing or cancelling a subscription is done in your Apple ID account settings.

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, it is scheduled and delivered entirely by your device's operating system. No notification service of ours is involved.

Not a medical service

Velenne is a personal tracking tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk to your doctor about your health.

Children

Velenne is designed for adults (women aged 40–55) and is not directed to children. It contains no advertising and collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above — for example, by adding an optional feature that uses a network service — this policy will be updated and the App Store privacy disclosures revised before that version is released.
